I'm a marine engineer, so most of my life happens at sea. The ship goes where the work sends it, and over the years that's been most of the map, one port at a time.

Somewhere along the way I started carrying a camera. Nothing serious at first, just a habit of stopping when something in front of me wouldn't let me walk past. This is where those photos live. Cities, coastlines, the occasional glacier, in black and white and colour.

And every now and then a thought sticks around long enough that I have to write it down. Those go in the Logbook.
